Before I actually played Super Mario Galaxy, I read about it. There’s a lot to read. It was apparently the game of the year in 2007. It was given an A, 5/5, or 9.5 to 10/10 by every major magazine and website. They talked about how the game raises the bar and changes perceptions of what the Wii is capable of.
